A brief video of the Waukesha County ARES group working the ARRL Field Day event.

We were running 2A in the parking lot of one of our served agencies.

The main antenna was an OCF dipole at about 40 feet.

The second antenna was a buddy pole at about 18 feet.

You can hear the generator running in the background.

We also had batteries on each station for when the generator ran out of gas.

We never went down the entire 24 hour period.

As you can see from the video we are pretty casual and weren't too concerned about the points.

For us it is about getting out there, setting it up and making it all work.

It was a great time, and very successful!
